ALC Ghana is a proposed chapter put forward in August 2026, with Rich Bowen mentoring. The proposal aims to bring open source mentorship, technical workshops, and collaboration with local universities and tech communities to the region. As of early October 2026 it was moving toward approval on the ComDev list but had not been formally finalized.
